  Rand Recovery Centers are introducing the concept of "Chemical  Dependency Home Health Care" This is a program that allows long term, affordable care by incorporating a unique blend of a social and medical models in a proven, successful format. We offer a continuum of services including hospitalization, chemical dependence treatment, dual diagnosis and pain treatment tracts, as well as residential living. There are both day care programs with educational groups as well as partial day and evening programs designed to accommodate individual needs. We also offer combined programs for multi-diagnosed conditions, such as psychological, dependence and chronic pain.

Residents are expected to perform daily therapeutic duties such as maintaining their own living quarters, laundry and cooking. Responsibility for these living skills offers them the opportunity to be held accountable for their own living patterns and to cope with everyday problems.   Rand Recovery Centers was founded by Dr. Jerry Rand to address the critical gap faced by individuals who need special assistance in their recovery from chemical dependency at an affordable price. The secret of our success lies in a balanced and proven program that encompasses intervention, expert primary treatment and continuing support through the difficult period of early sobriety. To further enhance the recovery process and reduce the risk of relapse, the multi-disciplinary staff focuses on the development of constructive life skills. These skills are developed through individual consultation, therapeutic duties, group therapy, education, and self exploration, which is supported by the principles of the Twelve Step Program. We address the developmental milestones necessary to achieve long term sobriety and give instruction in relapse prevention skills.

  The success of any program depends on the expertise of the staff. Dr. Rand is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. His staff includes an array of medical and mental health consultants who bring wealth and expertise to Rand Recovery Centers. This staff includes addiction specialists, psychiatrists, family practitioners, Ph.D. and CAADAC counselors. Because this disease is endemic in our society, one in four people know someone with the disease of chemical dependency. We hear too often about the results of the ravages of alcoholism and drug abuse.
